[ANIMATED, ANTI-DRM, SHORT] 'Trusted Computing', a Creative Commons-licensed animated short film by Benjamin Stephan and Lutz Vogel, deals with the concept of the eponymous DRM solution, arguing that, perhaps, it isn't such a good idea after all. As Cory Doctorow at BoingBoing says, this is 'a high-level overview of the philosophical problems with the technology. Run, don't walk [to see it].'

[SOUTH AFRICA, OPEN-SOURCE ADVOCATING, TV SHOW] 'Go_Open' is a 13-episode mainstream-aimed TV series about using open source software, funded by sources including South African entrepreneur and astronaut Mark Shuttleworth's foundation. It includes interviews with major open-source figures such as Richard Stallman, Lawrence Lessig, Jon ‘maddog’ Hall, and Bruce Perens, as well as case studies and discussions of both Shuttleworth's (Ubuntu Linux) and other South African and global projects that have successfully used open-source elements.

mind the host of those shows as he's corny as hell and kinda of annyoing, but is damned cool.
