Export current Ubuntu Installation on DvD ( CD )

i want to keep my current Ubuntu installation so i wont install it and configure it again ( has all the updates by now ) + extra apps
I saw a thread a couple of months a go , and i know it's possible
but i never find that thread :(

can you help me with this ?:D

There are a few different ways you could do this, but probably the easiest is remastersys (http://www.remastersys.klikit-linux.com/ubuntu.html). It allows you to make a live CD/DVD of your system in its current state, which you can use to install on a different computer.
