Hi, I've been trying to install Ubuntu 9.04 within WinXP and running into a "No Disk" error that seems to be associated with several Card Reader, drive letter allocations by Windows, as was discussed in this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=7490676#post7490676) thread.
The overall effect is that the installed Ubuntu freezes at startup and won't uninstall in Windows unless I use the "Safely Remove hardware" via the System Tray icon and Stop the many Card Reader and Generic Volume entries listed there. This prevents the error message from occurring but the Drive lettered entries all return at the next boot.
In the past I added a front panel to my PC containing various Firewire, card reader and USB ports. This seems to be where the trouble comes from. Is there any way of overcoming this problem without removing the front panel hardware?
