Delicious.

Risa, Akane, Masato, and their wonderful Ubuntu PC have finally made the front page on one of the biggest anime news sites on the net.

Damn it! Why did the author have to distribute it through iTunes. I certainly am not installing that on any of my PCs for this. Someone just want to mirror the manga on a download service who got it?

Robot Comics has released Ubunchu!, Hiroshi Seo's manga about "the world's cutest" distribution package of the Linux operating system (OS), for free in English and Japanese for the iPhone and iPod touch this week. In this "slapstick school romantic comedy," three high school students — the fervent UNIX user and club president Akane Kisaragi, the hardcore gal-game otaku vice-president Masato Midō, and the dōjinshi-drawing Mac fan Risa Shīna — are learning how to use the Ubuntu OS in their systems adminstration club. The manga is available in two formats: the original right-to-left page format, and a left-to-right page format. The manga was originally published in ASCII MediaWorks' Kantan Ubuntu! (Easy Ubuntu!) book in Japan, but it is now freely available under a Creative Commons license.
Doesn't sound very exciting, are there many mangas like this?
