I am a fairly recent convert and am trying to install on a desktop. I used the same ISO disk(s) to run live CD and install on a laptop with no issues. However, when I attempt to run live CD prior to installing on the desktop, I repeatedly get the following message after the splash screen begins.
init: tty x main process terminated
init: tty x main process ended, respawning
init: tty x respawning too fast, stopped
Googling has produced a lot of the same question, but no real answers. I just want to make sure if I install, I'll at least be able to tweak to boot properly. Any help would be great!
