Hi all,

i am first time using this form,i really need a help for to get my issue fixed.

i am recently started using ubuntu livecd for one of the site direct me the option for scaning the virus of windows by booting into the ubuntu livecd.As they mentioned i tried to install the softsources i getting error like

"failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/release.gpg could not connect to archive.ubuntu.com:80(91.189.88.46) -connect(111 connection refuced)[1p:91.189.88.46 80]"

These error i am regularly getting if i tried to install any of the software.

The error showing my internet connection is not proper but i can able to browse all the sites by using proxy setting.


Please anybody can help me on this ....

I'm not sure I understand your problem but if you are using the live cd then you can't install programs because the live cd only uses memory and the cd to run and won't write to your hard drive.
