i had noticed something kind of weird, not really weird, but Mandriva linux plays youtube videos better that ubuntu, with compiz enabled on an Eee pc 900. i turn the cube, and it still plays as good as windows. can anyone try to explain why it does that, when i use ubuntu, and i turn the cube, it slows everything down.
i used these:
Mandriva 2009.0 (KDE)
Ubuntu 9.04, 8.10, 8.04 (GNOME)
i'm kind of curious why this happens, can anyone tell me why?

Maybe a difference between KDE and Gnome. Or maybe Mandriva is doing something in a better way. Who knows.

Maybe the better way part, i missed the point that i tried kubuntu too, or am i wrong? maybe its the hardware support they have.
