Hi there,
I have tried to install perl 5.10.0 on my ubuntu machine but it's causing me a lot of trouble and because of that I want to revert the installation.
I installed using "the old fashioned way" - e.g. using "sh Configure", "make", "make test" and "make install".
My simpe question now is, how do I uninstall that perl installation? "make uninstall" does not work - I get this message: "make: *** No rule to make target `uninstall'. Stop."
I used to use the perl 5.8.8 installation which is available from the repositories and I want to get back to that again.
Thx.
