Hi. I installed Virtualbox OSE 2.1.4 successfully in Ubuntu jaunty, and followed all the steps to installing guest additions including downloading and mounting the guest additions iso CD/ROM. However, when I go into Windows Xp via Vbox, the CD drive (d:/) is empty - no exe file. I tried unmounting and remounting the iso drive in Vbox with Windows open, but still no luck. Rebooted - still nothing. Eventually deleted the iso, uninstalled and reinstalled Win Xp on the virtual machine, but still not able to install guest additions iso! No error messages and able to mount the iso, but Windows still doesn't "see"it in Vbox!
At a total loss as to how to proceed short of uninstalling Vbox and starting right from the beginning (aaaaargh!)
