Hello, im kind of new to all this Ubuntu OS.
I installed the dist. for net books and but found navigation bloated and jumpy, gave an impression of slow performance on the overall machine. Suspected that I was the GUI because when I used the mouse and dragged it across option in the menus it lagged
i found a option to turn on Ubuntu classic view and must say that, now have a machine that I can use with great performance.. Don’t know why the default GUI is so slow.
prob. is now that I want to use this classic view as standard, but where is this set? It now switches back til ubuntu default after reboot

pc900 + 3 gb ram 16 gb ssd
