Hi,

I'm guessing this is in the right place, this category seemed to fit most with what I'm looking for.

I'll be creating a website soon and I'm trying to make it as standards compliant and as open source as possible. So far I've found it difficult to ascertain the different licenses for the most popular fonts in usage. Do any of you know a font that has an open license and that can be displayed on any web browser (without any add-ons) on Windows and Linux?

Previously I have used verdana but I think this isn't free and it didn't display correctly on a fresh install of Ubuntu. I know you can install restricted fonts but what I'm trying to achieve is full presentation without any work required from the user.

Any help is appreciated!
Cheers
