Upgrade 8.04 to 9.10 alpha

Can I upgrade ubuntu 8.04 to 9.10 alpha? How?

No, you do not want to do that. alpha is very very buggy.

to upgrade (over the internet) you must go from 804 to 810 to 904 to 910.

in my opinion its better to just burn a cd and try it out first..
