Reinstalling Windows XP on Dual Boot

Hallo

I have an older Laptop running Jaunty and Windows XP in dual boot using Grub. Grub is located in the primary partition C:

The time has come to reinstall Windows XP. Before I start this I would like to know will Windows overwrite Grub? If so how do I reinstall Grub and ensure that it accesses my much loved Ubuntu.

I am sure that the answer is located somewhere in this forum, but intensive searching yields an overload on information. Therefore I would be very grateful if kind pereson could direct me to the correct thread or answer my question.
