I have a file that I'm working on editing with Windows user on my LAN. The file is in a shared folder on that users computer.

Is it possible for us both to have the same file open - on my computer with OOo and on the other computer in Office - with one of us doing the editing and the other seeing the changes as they happen?

Samba shares were a piece of cake, but for some reason I've never been able to make remote desktop work between these two computers. Mine is running Jaunty, and the other is XP SP2.

I don't think it is possible.

I also bumped to the first page.
