I'm trying to install ubuntu 9.04 on my toshiba laptop. I decided to do this because when I try to start my laptop it gives me an error saying that Windows failed to start...
So i figured i would give ubuntu a shot. I burned the CD and everything (correctly, this is not the first computer i've installed ubuntu on) and popped it in. However, when i turn on the toshiba i can't access any setup or boot menu. It tells me to press F2 to access setup and F12 to access boot device menu but neither work. No matter what I do, every time it just goes right to the error message.
Here's the error message in case it helps.
File: /Windows/system32/winload.exe
Status: 0x000000f
Info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.
Any help would be amazing!
