View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu themes

i've tried alot of commands, granted im new to linux and i cant seem to load any of the themes i download, ive searched i cant find anything, ive done what the people said to do to install it, i just dont know why i always get an error, the way they write it seem so easy but i guess its not for me. Can anyone help me?

Exactly how did you try to install it? What error messages are you getting? And if you could link to the themes you are trying to install it would be helpful! Most themes can be installed simply dragging the .tar.gz file into the Theme window[ System->Preferences->Appearance]

It said that the file couldn't be found because its not a theme package and i tried dragging and dropping and it didn't work but i will try again with the tar.gz file, thank you guys for all this help i really do appreciate it since I'm trying to learn linux for my independent study/work for school
