Hello everybody! Third thread to the forums,
I knew you guys' are really helpful, so I thought I would come to here.
I am getting a "new" iBook G3 Clamshell (Limited Edition), and if it has Mac OS 9 on it, I am upgrading it to Ubuntu. Now, what version would I install? I know there is a special version of Ubuntu for PPC's, but I couldn't find it in my searches in Google. Could any of you guys' help?
PS: If you read my previous post on a server, it's up and running! Thank you!

I'm looking at the post right now. Will edit when I'm finished.
EDIT: Well, I'm leaning towards Xubuntu. I think it is what would be the best with only a 366MHz PowerPC and 320MB RAM. But what's the difference between Ubuntu and Xubuntu? I won't lose all the good stuff that Ubuntu has, will I? I don't care about Desktop effects (I couldn't run them anyways), but I do want most of the features that Ubuntu has. Nevermind. I just found out that the only main difference is that it uses the XCFE desktop environment instead of the GNOME desktop environment.

Ahahah! Man, I am absolutely LOVING the enthusiasm! Good stuff! I'm getting it tomorrow/tomorrow night, so I'll be posting when it starts to install. :). Me excited! Just need to find a CD-R to burn the iso on... Hmm.

I found out that it is an iMac G3 SE with only 128MB RAM. Now, I don't think this is enough to run Xubuntu, sooo, I'm not too sure on how to go about this. I don't know how to partition it and dual-boot, so I don't think I will. If I do, I will definitely be posting it on YouTube.
Thanks for the help, I bookmarked the page that Mighty_Joe posted.
