When I attempted to upgrade from 8.10>9.04 I encountered the BusyBox v1.10.2(Ubuntu 1:1.10.2-2ubuntu7) bug on my desktop. Apparently this bug was fixed (lists.ubuntu.com/archives/jaunty-changes/2009-March/008361.html - )
If I put the desktop into Recovery mode could I download the fixes using the commandline directly into its HDD; or would I have to down load it onto this IBM T40 (running Debian 4.0), burn it to a CD, and then transfer it? TIA:o
