View Full Version : [ubuntu] Quick, possibly silly question - hold terminal screen

Ok, so I'm trying to run a program, and I can tell that when I click it, a window comes up and then goes away before I can read it.

Is there something I can type before I type the command to launch my program that will keep my terminal window open - like a hold or freeze command?

I think this is an easy question, but multiple searches (here and google) didn't bring up anything.

Thanks!

Maybe, instead of double clicking on it, open up the terminal before hand, navigate to the folder and call the app from the command line. I try to do this whenever I'm having issues with software. Gives more information!
