A lot of people do a lot of hard work to make Ubuntu and gnu/linux in general and I'm greatfull and I want to give back.
I know the most obvious way is to just give money to the Ubuntu foundation (something that I don't think is encouraged nearly enough sins other versions of Linux ask for donations right oh their home pages) but I've found a few other things that can be done but I'm guessing I don't know them all. So if you know of anyways I can raise money or just help Ubuntu and gnu/linux please tell me.
heres some of the things I've found
you can raise money for the Free software foundation using goodsearch however I don't know for user that the FSF is getting any of the money raised.
then theres the Linux Fund credit card which gives money to open source projects
Then theres different groups you can join that you need to pay a membership fee like the Linux foundation which is really for big companies and theres the Free software foundation which seems to be oriented towards individuals
Thanks
Dan
