Hi All,
Ubuntu Jaunty, updated, amd64.
I'm dying to try the latest TeXMaker (0.9.1), with INLINE SPELL CHECKING!!
Anyhow, it's obviously not available yet in the Ubuntu repos (or I wouldn't be posting this), so I did some searching. Debian has it in their unstable stream: http://packages.debian.org/sid/amd64/texmaker/download
When I download the deb, there are some Qt related dependencies that can't be satisfied in the Ubuntu repos either. So, I tried adding the sid repo to my sources.list. I get some complaints about not having a key, but now it will let me use the latest texmaker .deb from the above URL.
My questions are two. (1) is there a bleeding edge Ubuntu repo that I can use instead? And (2), what are the implications (i.e., dangers) of using the sid repo?
Thanks in advance.
