I'd like to set up a home server which will handle my personal email and also push mail, contacts and calendaring to my Phone over the air, basically something like activesync, but is free.
I could do this by installing windows server 2008 with exchange server 2007 on a virtual server on my server, but I would prefer not to use proprietary software for this.
How do you guys do this? What open source email programs should I look at that would be able to do this? I have seen 'z-push' but I'm not sure what else to look at.
