I accidently turned off the menu. I just want to reset the Kubuntu Desktop. I hit my head in a car accident in 2006 so things aren't as easy as they used to be. That and my Gateway MX8734 Laptop is a finiky monster on a good day. I even run Vista, Hee Hee. Boy do I like punishment. Linux runs faster on it Windows 7 doesn't do so bad. It's like Vista fixed.

Just add the menu back..
-left click the panel
-select Add to panel
-search for main menu
-drag the item to where you want it on the panel

I had to completely reconstruct my panel once.

log out your graphical session and login to console session and apply case 3 from the post http://alok.fossguru.in/content/resetting-settings-applications-linux
and now again switch to grapghical session .
mark this thread solved if it solves your problem
