At my In-laws house we have 3 computers on ubuntu. They all do well on dslreports.com , download.com (downloading a large file), and streaming high bitrate video. Average speed is around 3MBps
However, when i run the update manager on each of them, i begin getting speeds of about 200bytes per second..
This is strange, the second i tether any of them to my phone, they speed up again. Is there any way to change update servers in case the one they are using has a really bad latency to their house? I know this is the case for other programs..
