hi guys! can you please help me with this? i have a problem installing cedega on my computer... first, i have downloaded the "cedega file" from the link http://www.cedega.com/downloads/source.html, then after the download has finished... all i got was a folder, with so many files lyk it was already extracted. how could i install this software with no clues where will i start??

Hi.

You downloaded the source code. You should look up how to install from source. The basic process is generally referred to as "./configure, make, make install". Installing from source can be a lot more work because it is up to you to make sure your computer meets all the dependencies, IOW, has all the needed software installed to compile the source.

If I were you, I'd search to see if there's already a specific tutorial for installing Cedega from source in Ubuntu, since there may already be one.

i have tried installing from source and it seems that i understand it now... but i still have one big problem... where can i find the Xcursor??? isnt it the libxcursor in my synaptic??? i have installed them but the installation keeps from asking me from it... and how can i remove the program afterwards?? (if ever there will be uninstallation to be done)
