View Full Version : South East Linux Fest was great

Well I don't know how many of my brothers and sisters from the South Carolina team made it. But I do know there was a strong Ubuntu presence.
I was kind of sad to see that there was no T-Shirt for me though. The Fedora crew was passing those out like hot cakes (need some 3X shirts for me though).
There was no Ubuntu talkers oddly enough. They did have I know two speakers from the Fedora group and I think two from OpenSuSe and one definitely from OpenSolaris. But my most favorite speakers were the one doing the KDE lecture and the networking 101 as he broke it down about the TCP/IP level and how a little ole packet makes it from your app to the net.
This was my first Linux Fest and certainly wont be my last. I plan on attending the SELF every time they have one at Clemson.
