Hey, I was just wondering, I did a persistent installation of ubuntu to my thumbdrive, I believe it was the latest version or the one previous. Now, I need to use my thumbdrive and I can't figure out how to use it. I'm running windows 7, and when I look at the thumbdrive (4 GB) in windows explorer, it shows the total space as something along the lines of 1.2 GB. Not too sure how to remove the ubuntu from the thumbdrive, but any help would be great.

Right click on it and choose "format". All data on thumb drive will be lost and you will have roughly 4GB of free space on it again.

I ended up figuring it out, and it wasnt that way. When I right-clicked and went to format, it came up as formatting the 1.2gb, not the rest of the drive. What I had to do is go into disk management and delete the ubuntu partition then re-format the whole drive.
