Any help would be appreciated. I am new to Ubantu and have a Dell Optiflex GX 270 that came with Ubuntu 8.04. I am trying to install the latest Ubantu 9.04 using a cd that I made from the Ubantu website. The cd is a good iso image and has been checked but after booting with the cd in the drive and going thru all of the Ubuntu install and cd drive operation I end up with a terminal entry..Ubuntu@ubuntu and cannot proceed further.
I am stumped-Can anyone help?
