Dear All,
by means of the Debian Installer I tried to install on ubuntu 9.04 the miktex tools 2.8 downloaded from www.miktex.org (the debian version obviously). However, I get an error
(something like wrong architecture) :o.
Did you had a similar experience and how you solved it?

Thanks,
Ettore

I was able to install Miktex Package Manager following the instructions posted in this web page
http://karussell.wordpress.com/2009/06/13/install-miktex-a-latex-package-manager-for-ubuntu/

Forget about the GDebi.:p :p:D
