Hello everyone,
I am going to try and install 9.04 on my desktop and i have some very specific questions and the would also like some advice.

Firstly my mobo is an Asus p5q Deluxe and i am attempting to install to a hardware raid 0 (ICH10R). Is this possible?

Secondly, i have a wireless N wireless card with the rtl8190 and the live disk does not recognize it at all. is there something else i need to install?

thirdly, i have 2 geforce video cards that i want to use to power 4 monitors of different sizes. Can i do this in a way that is similar to how windows handles multi-monitors?

Any advice or links would be great!
Thanks!

I have an update to this question seeing as i haven't gotten it to work yet.
I would like to install the Beta of 9.10 and i would like to install it from within windows using Wubi.
Does anyone have specific instructions on how to do this or know if its even possible?

Thanks

You can download the beta of Ubuntu 9.10 here http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/karmic/beta

If you want to install wubi, just burn the ISO to a CD, like you normally would, then pop it in WHEN windows is running, the Wubi AutoRun should come up on its own and then all you have to do is follow instructions.

On a side note, I believe you have to install some nvidia drivers AFTER installation for a dual-monitor setup to work.

hi,

without checking you can be reasonably confident your mobo will work peachy keen out of the box.

but for the wireless card and video card, take a look here:

if you have more questions, ill keep my eye on this thread every 24-48 hours and help if i am able.
