i looked at the forum list. (well, i tried. its a huge list) but i diddnt see an introductions board. so... im here.
im not new to linux but i am new to ubuntu. i started with slackware, then tried mandrake (before mandrake and mandriva split) for a week, then back to slackware for a long while.
i talked a friend into trying a dual boot not too long ago, and i was looking for something user friendly for him. i settled on ubuntu, he liked it, i gave it a whirl, and it was comfortable.
then... i found ubuntu studio. long story short, its awesome.
i am going to attept to log in from my phone after i get my profile set up, and hopefully, ill be here for a while. a little less if i cant log in, but ill still be here...
