Try GTKpod (apt:gtkpod) :) I like it even better then Itunes, but then again I dont use it for music, itunes-store and so on.

If you REALLY need Itunes I would recomend VirtualBox with a winxp guest os. Works like a charm

The new version of iTunes does not work in WINE. You have several other options though. GTKpod as already mentioned, Rythmbox (the default music player in Ubuntu), and Banshee just to name a few. All of these work like iTunes.

VirtualBox is a way to run other operating systems in a virtual machine. So you could run Windows inside of Ubuntu.

Try Rhythmbox and/or Banshee to see if either of those read it.

www.virtualbox.org if you definitely need iTunes. Read around a little and problem solved ;)
