Well, I was having problems with my installation of Xubuntu and my Synaptics Touchpad. The touchpad lost the functions of tapping and scrolling since I upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 alpha. Today I found this and was at least half helpful, my tapping started to work. I hope this help if you are having problems like this.
