I am setting up a 9.04 server which has two 1TB hard drives. I want to setup encryption and use LVM. I've actually already got it working, but I had to encrypt both drives separately, and as a result, enter a passphrase for both drives. Consequently, every time I boot I have to enter my passphrase twice, once for sda and once for sdb. Is there any way to setup encryption so that it will treat them as one encrypted volume and only require a single passphrase?
Also, how important is it that the passphrase be upper/lower/alpha-numberic with special characters and 20+ characters?
