How stable is Karma?

Hi

Jaunty is now very stable and I have been getting, well, a little bored. Is karma stable enough for a non techie to run? I have found that I learnt a lot from following the beta releases and more recently I got into Jaunty at the Alpha 6 stage.

What do you think? Is Karma a good next step in my learning curve at the moment?

Well... Define "stable enough". Karmic is still in alpha and you know what that means.

I'm running it because I pulled my hard drive with my fully functional Jaunty install on it and replaced it with a scratch drive that I then installed Karmic on. So far, no problems. But the only way to find out is to jump in. And by then of course, it's too late.
