I have a toshiba Satellite Pro S300M-2124 that I have been trying to get 8.04LTS working on.
The issue is that when the install helper/wizard is supposed to launch the screen is all jumbled and is unreadable.
I've tried installing it with the safe graphics options, apci=no and the combination of the two with no luck.
I've noticed that another option is to boot with a driver update cd, but through numerous searches and checking other resources I'm having problems finding a guide helping with creating the driver update cd and the driver for the Intel GMA 4500MHD.
Any help, thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
