Flashes with timing that seems random, but generally more frequent when running more apps. This screen does not flash when adjusting BIOS settings before OS loads, but will occasionally just from the login screen afterwards.

I've edited the xorg.conf file to include the vert and horizontal refresh rates detailed in the manual specs of the monitor, but still flashes.

Perhaps this is the flash support everyones been askin for.

Acer 22" (V223W), HDMI to intel 45 CB MB.

Please let me know any configuration ideas, I have searched the web/forums to no avail thus far. I enjoy working in the Ubuntu OS and need to patch this up to move on.

Well I'm glad to say it's all patched up now! Just took a little bit of the good stuff from the crack_pushers. It seems their latest linux kernal in their white(listed) packages did the trick! Always does. I heard these kernals are so popular they could be a part of 9.10? I'm tellin ya though, now that I've had a taste, I can never go back.

And about that flash support...

So glad to have a working 9.10 setup! Peace in the greasy crease.
