So, I don't much. Just got an Ubuntu desktop server disc. Tried loading it onto a desktop at home. It seemed to go through the installation steps. I stepped away briefly and came back. It seemed to be stuck on a screen with lines of color similar to what would happened if a an old nintendo game didn't load properly. I waited a while longer and checked again and it was still there. So, I rebooted. The computer started up and went straight to a black screen and then the words "press a key to reboot appeared.' I pressed a key and all that happened was to reboot to the same screen. I tried taking the disc out and nothing. I'm not sure what else to do. It seems i don't have access to much but the BIOS.
