At the risk of committing sacrilege, does anyone know how to verify a download of Fedora 11?

The instructions at this page: http://fedoraproject.org/en/verify look like they are assuming an existing installation of fedora. I have only ubuntu 9.04 at the moment.

Thanks,

I presume there must be an md5sum or checksum for the iso file you downloaded, but anyway here is the site for verification, which I don't think means you must have fedora already. I see no reason why you can't do what they suggest in ubuntu.

All you need to do is download the iso you need and then compare its md5sum or sha1sum with the ones posted on the Fedora site or a Fedora mirror. This works on any distro.
