I'm looking to get a wireless keyboard to compliment my large monitor (samsung T220HD), and I'm looking for one that I can just plug in and use, primarily the two I've been looking at are the

and

The first has a reported (6 star review) of it working in ubuntu (albeit on the ps3) but the 2nd has better reviews.

What experiences have people had with wireless keyboards in ubuntu?

any reason in particular you're going with these low end brands?

I'd go with a Logitech, even the cheap ones are better than most keyboards on the market.

Same sentiments here. I inherited a Logitech wireless keyboard that I have hooked up to my Mac mini, and it's great. I've thought about getting one for this computer, too, but I'm torn between wireless and an illuminated keyboard.

I found the
Labtec wireless keyboard and mouse desktop 800
and the
Logitech LX 710 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
both worked fine.

I have a EX 110 (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard_mice_combos/devices/154&cl=roeu,en), all I had to do was plug it in and it worked. The one thing you have to think about is that the encryption only works with Windows.

There is a thread in Security Discussions where a fellow had a problem with his neighbour controlling his computer, as they both had the same wireless keyboard and mouse combos
