Hey,

Im trying to switch my toshiba netbook nb105 sp2802r from XP to Ubuntu, for this I downloaded the netbook version of ubuntu.}

First: I just put the Ubuntu file into a flash drive, but a get the message "Disk Error", what am I doing wrong here??

Second: do I need drivers for the hardware like, trackpad, usb ports, sd card bay, sound or video card once I had installed the OS??

Really lost, but fast learner..., please throw some help on my way

Pretty much what I need is how to instal ubuntu, and later make my netbook fully functional under this OS....

Thanks

you can't just copy the iso image to your flash drive. you must create a bootable usb. see this for instructions how to do so : http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
