Hi guys,
My laptop has got Ubuntu 9.04 installed on it now and i finally figured out the resolution problem. But now everytime i shut it down(i have to press a key to shut down completely) and i come back, the resolution is set to the default again. Also when the pc starts my screeen is very dark. I have to press the function key and the button that makes the display more lighter. Anyone know what the problem is maybe? Im a complete newbie to linux.
