Ubuntu Server 9.04 USB Flash Install

Well, I'm trying to install Jaunty 32-bit server, and I don't have access to a blank CD, so I'm trying to install from a USB flash drive. I used UNetBootin to prepare the drive, and I can successfully boot, and start the install, until it checks the CD, saying it cannot be found. I currently do not have access to an Ubuntu machine, since I was trying Windows 7 RC1, but I do have an 8.10 Live CD. Do I need to install a minimal Ubuntu installation to prepare the drive?

I have to say that I have successfully run Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04 on the computer before, successfully.
