My wife's iP3000 printer seems to have stopped working under Ubuntu.
She doesn't use her printer very much but the last time a few weeks ago I had to delete and reinstall her printer before it would print some documents. Today we're unable to print anything even after I've re-installed the printer. I managed to get a test page printed using a button on the printer and I'm also able to connect its USB lead to an XP notebook and successfully print off a document, so the printer and its lead are working.
Connecting the printer to the motherboard direct or to a USB hub makes no difference, after a few minutes the printer job report says it's been completed but nothings has actually been printed. I'm using 9.04 Ubuntu's default gutenprint driver.
What's happened?
Enclosed is the troubleshooter file
