hello everyone,
im new to linux and dont know anything about it and i want to "expand my horizons" :)
i tried to install two different versions of linux (mandriva, ubuntu) and with both of them i got the same error after installation reboots, when the comp starts it says "bad ipl"
first i thought it was mandriva so i installed ubuntu only to find the same problem once again,
can any1 help me ?
oh, i have two hard-drives, one sata one ide and i formated everything before installation with partition magic or something like that (if it all matters)
