Ok, i formated my hard disk.... i got windows xp fresh on it... i want to ditch xp and just use ubuntu. but i dont have a cd rom or floppy drive. i read the forums on how to boot from a usb disk but was totally lost... can anyone help me. or am i stuck with wubi

In 8.10 and later there's a app in System>>Administration>>Create USB startup disk.

You just download the .iso, then start the app and choose the .iso from the desktop.

ight now i dont have ubuntu on my system.... i want to put on the full system.. i downloaded the new 9.04 and when i click on the file i get a option to restart now restart later or help me to boot from cd... i downloaded wubi r134 from the site.. i have a ubuntu 9.04 (not sure what version) on my flash drive.. when i restart and choose to boot from usb flash i get a error unbootable media. when i choose help me boot from cd i get a error in the end that it couldnt gather all required information or files. Any ideas.
