Hi,
Just posting to find out if anyone knows of, or are working on a PC to phone SMS program.

Im looking for something that is capable of, or can be modified to, send messages from a PC with a mobile phone SIM, to another mobile when I get notifications from websites or IRC (say set up an IRC channel where OPs can use commands to text me, and recieve notifications from Ogame.org)

Is there a program in existance to help with this?

Thanks,

Goodpanda

www.eztexting.com... I have an account with them with API access. Using standard delivery instead of express delivery, because I'm cheap.. but it's pretty fast as well.. under a minute to receive a text message.

Will that allow notifications if something happens on another website? Say I was attacked in a game?

It seems www.eztexting.com is a US and Canada only site, I need something that will get to Australia also.

There was a thread on these very forums about an application of sorts for sending commands to your local machine's shell from your mobile phone. (And get output back.) You could use that as a basis (and run some kind of program from there that does the rest).

Would this work in Australia?

Would this work in Australia?

Should work anywhere. Try it. The worst that can happen is that the message is bounced back to you or the message never gets received.
