Adding Launchpad as repository

I can not quite figure out how to add launchpad with all its programs as a repository. Do I have to add a repository for every program? (it seems to me I have to) I kind of wanted the whole thing in my packet-manager... Can anyone help out?

Hi, you will need to add the ppa's (repos) for the packages that you want to install.

i understand! tnx. any particular reason why we can't add the whole thing as a third-party software source?
