Pardon the second post, but got no response on the remix thread.
Dell with UBUNTU lost navigation after updates
Dell Mini 9 running Ubuntu 8.04 original disc.
Got the message that there are updates available.
Followed screen instructions. Updates loaded.
Restarted Mini, but only thing there is background with the Dell Document folder.
No navigation - nothing.
Anybody knows what gives? Do I have to reload from Restore? No data lost as it was a new unit. But I will have to borrow a DVD unit.
