Desktop does not fit on screen

I'm running 8.04 with a Nvidia FX5200 through the EnvyNG program. I have one problem though. The desktop does not fit on the physical screen. I've tried changing the resolution as well as adjusting the screen position by using the buttons on the monitor. Nothing works well. Can someone tell me what to do?

Hi and have you tried using the nvidia-settings to adjust. You can use the command
gksu nvidia-settings
Also using Hardy 8.04 you may use the command
gksu displayconfig-gtk
